I left Goa last weekend with my new cycling companion Lander who I met in Shiraz, Iran and we have spent this week cycling 500km down the south west coast into Karnataka & Kerala.

Today we left the coast and started heading inland toward the Western Ghats which we will be climbing over the next week.

Hopefully we’re heading for some cooler weather up in the mountains as it is pretty tough going at the moment with a temperature of about 36 degrees. Due to the heat and humidity we have to start cycling in the dark and can only ride until midday each day.

I separate news, I’ve managed to meditate every morning and have a sunset swim at the beach every day for the past two weeks so it’s not all bad
